Bivins & Hemenway, P.A., is looking to hire a part time receptionist/secretary at our Valrico office. Law firm experience is not necessary, but prior experience as a receptionist is a plus and the basic ability to handle a multiline telephone system, basic secretarial skills, and good organizational skills are critical. The candidate would also be involved in assisting our attorneys and staff in a number of administrative support capacities. The candidate should be a self-starter, present a professional demeanor and appearance, have strong phone and people skills, and have the ability to work collegially with his or her peers in a team environment that is often fastpaced. The candidate will be working with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.  Some flexibility on the total number of hours per week, but Monday thru Friday from no later than noon to 5:30 P.M. will be necessary.  Some possibility for eventual transition to a full-time position.   We are willing to train the right candidate who is looking for a long-term position in which he or she can grow with the firm.
